At the beginning of 2024 we -finally- completed the video and audio mix of the Buddy Rich Project.
On all streaming services (like Spotify and Tidal) you can listen to the concert and on YouTube you can see the Eric meets Buddy Rich band.
And -who still has a cd player?- a CD is released
The year started with a New Year’s concert in the hall of the town hall of IJmuiden/Velzen with the Seabreeze Big Band
With the Classic Rock band Out of the Cage we can even play in your kitchen: Kitchen Rock!
Every year Eric places two drum sets in front of his door (Lijnbaansgracht) and from 10 o’clock in the morning (at the request of the neighbors) you can press Paradiddeltje with him, 3 minutes workout, play grooves such as Funk, Rock, Latin, Jazz, or 4 to solo 4.
And with the little ones he plays soft rain, hard rain, lightning and thunder (they like the latter the most).
In the afternoon, after eight hours of drumming, Eric is exhausted.
On May 5, Liberation Day, musicians are always brought to their performances by helicopter.
At least that’s what Eric thought. . .
There was no budget for a helicopter for this concert for the homeless, so he brought his smallest drum kit on his bicycle.
Very easy since he lives in the center of Amsterdam.
